Radium UV-C Tubes

The Environmentally Friendly Alternative to Chemical Disinfection Methods

Our 254 nm UV-C low-pressure lamps emit their mercury line radiation mainly in the short-wave ultraviolet range. This process ensures effective, chemical-free and environmentally friendly disinfection in a wide variety of applications. Depending on the type of application, different outputs and sizes are available.

    Thanks to the high penetration depth of the radiation, the UV-C tube is ideally suited for water disinfection.
  • Indoor air disinfection
    With the help of the Radium 254 nm UV-C tubes, the virus load in closed rooms can be significantly reduced.

Safety Advice

254 nm lamps emit UV-C radiation during operation, which can cause lasting damage to eyes and skin. It causes photoconcunctivities (conjunctivitis) and erythema (sunburn) within a short time. People and animals must never be exposed to the radiation. Radium 254 nm UV-C tubes may only be operated in suitable, shielded luminaires when persons or animals are present.
