Apart from general lighting activities, Radium started early developing and producing infrared and UV-emitter in its Wipperfürth / Germany based factory.
Throughout the years, the demand for these technical products emitting non-visible spectral radiation has increased considerably. Infrared and UV radiation have become indispensable for a variety of industrial processes like thermoforming in the plastics industry or surface treatment, for example. Radium appreciates this remarkable development by establishing the "Tech" business unit. The intention of the new setup is to respond even better to the specific requirements of our industrial customers.
Radium-Tech consists of experienced specialists and engineers from the fields of lighting technology as well as materials science, who know the requirements of our industrial customers very well.
