Natural Light Spectrum with UV Component

Radium TECH offers special high-pressure discharge lamps with a UV component that realistically replicate natural sunlight for aquarium and terrarium applications. The balanced spectrum of visible light, UVA, and UVB not only ensures authentic color rendering underwater or in the terrarium but also supports the health and vitality of the animals kept in these environments.

Reptiles, amphibians, and many fish species require UV radiation for vitamin D₃ synthesis, natural behavior, and to strengthen their immune systems. Our lamps create optimal living conditions – for species-appropriate husbandry and impressive display setups.

Safety instructions

  • High-pressure UV lamps may only be operated in suitable fixtures that direct the radiation safely and precisely.
  • Skin and eye contact with UV radiation must be avoided.
  • Mercury may be released if the lamp breaks – appropriate safety precautions must be taken.
  • Use only according to the manufacturer's instructions, especially with sensitive animal species.
