Phase Cut Dimmer for 230V Lamps

Dimming of 230V LED, halogen and compact fluorescent lamps by APP is quite simply viable now:
One component, our Trailing Edge Dimmer (TED), can dim all mains voltage lamps by using a free APP and integrate them into light scenes. Its installation should be made by APP with your smartphone or tablet via a Bluetooth connection between TED and the light source(s).
Afterwards, the luminaire can be operated by switch / push button as well as via APP and smartphone / tablet.

Description and PropertiesTED2.0

The module must be fitted either into the luminaires or behind the light switch and integrated into the electric circuit (execution by qualified staff, only). With the free Casambi App, luminaires can be switched on or off or they can be dimmed in their brightness. When needed, they can also be grouped together and light scenes might be generated. These scenes are then operable via the APP as well as just with a customary wall-mounted push-button.

All SMART Blue products communicate with each other. Thus, a mesh network evolves:
Every newly integrated device enlarges the range of the whole network. The user just needs a connection to one of the devices in order to control all of them in the network.

Even if the fitting of the device is very easy (TED can be built behind the light switch or into the luminaire), for safety reasons, this should be done by qualified electricians, only.

Application with switch/push button

If the scenes have been set by implementation of the APP beforehand, you have got the possibility to operate the system by light switch. Then, you can retreive the scenes by wall-mounted push button. If operated by switch maybe reapeated hitting of the switch may be needed.

If the settings have been made by APP, they can be retreived by pressing the push-button.

Application with just a switch

When pressed for the first time ("Switch ON") a preset value will be retreived (default, adjustable by APP). By quick double-click of the switch ("OFF/ON") the light source begins to dim up. When the brightness has arrived at the wanted level, the dimming up can be stopped by "OFF/ON" again. Further one-off switching will switch off the luminaire safely and reliably.
