This means that the effects of high-energy, short-wave vacuum UV radiation can be easily tested and used, for example, for surface cleaning and activation, matting of paints and water purification.

The module with external dimensions of 460x120x115 mm³ and an emitting area of ​​250x80 mm² has been initially developed for XERADEX^® lamps with a peak wavelength of 172 nm, but should subsequently also be usable for UV-C lamps of other wavelengths by simply replacing the lamp.
